How do I choose who receives my campaign?
Audiences are saved filters over the customer accounts linked to your workspace, with a live recipient estimate.

Every campaign goes to an audience. The default audience needs no setup, and Email → Audiences is where you save narrower ones and reuse them. Audiences come with the Reachable plan, alongside campaigns themselves (dealer-plans).
Who is on my list in the first place?
Your list is the customer accounts linked to your workspace — the people who created an account through your own website, plus anyone you invited. It is not an address book you type into and not a list you can import; the accounts are the list, and it stays current on its own.
In the campaign composer that whole list is the Send to option labelled All active dealers. The label is the portal's shared wording for "everyone linked to this workspace" — for you that means your own customers, never anyone else's.
Three groups are always left out, whatever you choose: anyone who unsubscribed, anyone whose address hard-bounced, and anyone who reported a campaign as spam. You cannot add them back, and that is deliberate — those addresses are what damage a sending reputation.
What can I filter on?
An audience is built from three filters on the New audience page, and a recipient only qualifies if all of them match.
- Order recency — Anyone, Ordered within the last… N days, or Not ordered within the last… N days. The second is the one that finds customers worth winning back.
- Brands — chips for the vehicle makes that appear in your own order history. Leave every chip unselected to include all makes.
- Skip chronically unengaged recipients — on by default, and worth leaving on. It drops people who have received several of your campaigns without ever opening or clicking one.
The Estimated reach card on the right updates as you change the filters, so you see the size of the audience before you save it. Name the audience for yourself — it is internal, and recipients never see it.
Order recency and brands both read order history, so a customer who has an account but has never ordered will not match either filter. If you want to reach them, leave the recency on Anyone and select no brands.
Do audiences update themselves?
Yes. An audience stores the filters, not a frozen list of people, and it is re-evaluated at the moment a campaign sends. A customer who registered yesterday is inside "Anyone" today without you touching the audience — and a customer who unsubscribed this morning is outside it.
Can I delete an audience?
An audience can be deleted from its row menu, unless a campaign still targets it — the portal refuses with "This audience is used by a campaign and can't be deleted." Point that campaign at another audience first.
If a saved audience does disappear while a campaign is scheduled against it, that campaign drops back to Draft rather than quietly mailing a wider list.
What about consent?
Every campaign carries an unsubscribe link, added automatically. Unsubscribing stops marketing email only: the customer still gets the operational mail their account needs, such as a quote you send them. Marketing consent and transactional email are separate lanes on purpose.
Never mail addresses that did not ask to hear from you. Bought or scraped lists produce the spam complaints that get your verified domain filtered — including for the customers who did want your email (dealer-email-deliverability).
Still stuck?
If an audience shows a recipient estimate you cannot explain, open a ticket with the audience name and the number you expected, and say which of the three filters you set (getting-help).
