Can I change the wording of the emails sent on my behalf?
Rewrite quote and booking emails under Email > Email templates, per language, with our wording as the fallback.
Updated 2026-09-18 · 3 min read
Yes, under Email → Email templates. Some emails go to your customers automatically, written by us and signed by you; this page is where you replace our words with yours. The layout and the delivery stay ours, so nothing can break. It comes with the Reachable plan, together with sending from your own domain (dealer-plans).
Which emails can I rewrite?
The page currently lists four automatic emails:
- Price quote — the priced answer that goes back to someone who asked for a quote through your site.
- Quote request received — the confirmation sent the moment a request arrives, before you have priced anything.
- Booking confirmation — the confirmation for an appointment booked through your site, assistant or workspace.
- Booking reminder — the reminder sent before an appointment, at the times configured on its event type.
They are listed under the heading We send these for you. More will open up over time; the page says so where the list ends.
How do I edit one?
Editing works by clicking the email itself, not by filling in a form. The email is rendered in the middle of the page with sample data, and the hint above it says "Click any part of the email to rewrite it."
- Pick the language with the buttons at the top — English, Nederlands, Deutsch, Français. A dot on a language means you have already written something in it.
- Click the part you want to change — a heading, a paragraph, the button text. The subject line has its own control just above the rendered email.
- Type your version in the panel on the right and save it. Some blocks can also be removed from the email entirely.
Nothing is all-or-nothing. Anything you leave alone keeps our wording, and each field shows our current text as its placeholder so you can see what you are replacing. Resetting a field is a delete: clear your version and ours comes back.
Do I have to translate everything?
No, and the design assumes you will not. Overrides are stored per language, so writing only Dutch leaves our German exactly as it was. The dots on the language buttons show which languages you have actually written, so a half-finished set is visible instead of being discovered by a customer.
What are the locked blocks?
Some parts of these emails are listed as locked because they are figures rather than wording — the performance gains you quoted, the vehicle details, the options the customer picked, the price breakdown, and the one-time button link that opens that customer's quote. They are listed rather than hidden, so you can see the whole email even where the content is not yours to rewrite. Each one says why it is locked.
Where are my campaign designs?
The section at the bottom of this page, You design these, lists your campaign templates. Open the builder opens your campaign builder, and a template card opens that design. You can also reach them from Email → Campaign builder (dealer-campaign-builder).
Still stuck?
If a customer received our wording where you had written your own, open a ticket naming the email, the language you edited, and roughly when the customer received it (getting-help).
