How do I set my opening hours, and where do dealers see them?
Workspace → Opening hours sets the schedule behind appointment availability and the open/closed indicator dealers see.

Open Workspace → Opening hours. The page has three cards — General, Weekly hours and Exceptions — and a Save opening hours button at the bottom. What you save there becomes the open/closed indicator dealers see while they order from you, which is the delivery expectation they judge you against.
A dealer can still place a file order while you are closed; the indicator tells them to expect it to take a little longer. Calendar appointments use these hours to decide which booking times are available.
What goes in the General card?
The General card holds three settings that apply to the whole schedule:
- Use these opening hours — the master switch. When off, the dealer open/closed indicator is hidden and no appointment times are offered. Turn it on to use the schedule below for both.
- Timezone — an IANA zone such as
Europe/Amsterdam. Every time you enter below is read in this zone, and the times dealers see are your local times. - Closed message (optional) — a short line such as "Closed for the holidays", shown as the hover text on the indicator.
How do I set the weekly hours?
The Weekly hours card lists the seven weekdays. Each day holds one or more open/close time blocks:
- Add hours adds a block. Two blocks on one day is how you model a lunch break — for example 09:00–12:30 and 13:30–18:00.
- The bin icon beside a block removes it.
- A day with no blocks at all reads Closed, which is how you mark your weekend.
How do I handle holidays and half-days?
The Exceptions card overrides individual dates, and an exception always beats the weekly schedule. Press Add exception, pick the date, then either leave Closed all day switched on, or switch it off and give the open and close times for a half day. The free-text Note beside it is for your own reference. With no overrides the card reads "No date overrides. Add holidays or half-days below."
Add next year's public holidays in one sitting: an exception costs nothing until its date arrives.
Where exactly do dealers see this?
With the indicator switched on, your schedule appears in four places on the dealer's side:
- The order wizard's summary panel, for the tuner the order is going to — green "Open until 18:00" while you are open, muted "Closed · opens Mon 09:00" while you are not.
- The portal's top bar (on screens wider than a phone) — a coloured dot with the word Open or Closed for the dealer's current supplier.
- The dealer's dashboard, on the line under the greeting, in the same dot form.
- The supplier switcher, for a dealer who buys from more than one workspace: one dot per supplier in the list.
Hovering one of the dots shows the hours and, while you are closed, the line "Orders may take a bit longer while closed" followed by your closed message if you set one. The wizard's chip already spells the hours out, so hovering it shows the closed message alone.
Switch the indicator off and every one of those disappears for your dealers: the indicator hides itself rather than showing an empty or default schedule.
What is the difference between opening hours and Out of office?
Opening hours are your normal weekly rhythm: they set appointment availability and tell dealers when you are at the bench. Out of office, on Workspace → Overview, is a real absence: while it is on, new orders placed to your workspace can be auto-routed to your fallback partners so nobody waits for you (workspace-overview). Use hours for evenings and weekends, Out of office for a holiday.
The indicator is wrong or missing
Check three things in order: that Use these opening hours is on, that the timezone is the zone you actually work in (an hour's drift is almost always this), and that today has no exception left over from a previous year. Saving shows a confirmation and the indicator updates on the dealer's next page load.
If the indicator is still wrong after that, open a support ticket with your workspace name, the timezone you set and what the indicator says versus what it should say.
